this movie is about incest, alcoholism and bad mothering. I liked Dermot Mulroney as a grieving veteranarian, but nothing much else about the film impressed me, except how thoroughly depressing it was. I really need to see a happy movie soon. do they still make those?

Have you seen On A Clear Day? It's about swimming the English channel. I had to get it through a friend's netflix as they didn't have it in this little island's blockbuster. But it's a happy movie (for the most part) and it's about swimming, which i liked... Add it to your netflix queue. Brighten your day.
