good things: gorgeous settings, great actors, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter look like creepy incest siblings. bad things: disgusting bloody throat cutting, too many boring songs. overall, a very pretty Tim Burton movie, in that ugly, bleak sort of way.
