this quirky little new zealand indie about two losers could have been kind of cute if the guy wasn't such a truly horrible person. the rest of the characters are fine but he's just relentlessly awful - so how do you make a credible movie about a sweet nerdy girl who's in love with him? you probably shouldn't have.
