zzzz.....I was a little bored by this movie about a singing Irish bloke who flirts with a Czech immigrant but never really seems to mean it. maybe if I liked this kind of music I would have enjoyed it more. as it was, there wasn't much of a love story and the songs were earnest and whiny. I liked the ending, but wasn't sure the payoff was really worth sitting through the rest of it.

This is one of my top 5 of all time movies, definitely #1 of the year. Sorry you didn't like it.
you finally watch it, and you give a negative review. totally unacceptable! i'm definitely in the "mel camp." it's a great movie. i don't know if i'd say top 5 or #1, but it's definitely awesome.
